On Sunday I joined Personal Best in Durham for a Mega Training Day. Swim, bike, run, yoga, and an educational presentation. The day didn’t disappoint, it was hard work but good fun with lots of friends. These big days in the winter are a great way to kickstart off-season triathlon training for anybody suffering the winter blues.
This weeks vlog is about the indoor triathlon I did over the weekend at Life Time Ajax. This was my 5th indoor tri, and I’ve become a big fan of them. They’re a great way to get in a hard workout, and they can also be perfect for someone considering doing their first tri. I’d like to thank everyone who took pictures and videos and sent them to me. I’d also like to welcome two new supporters of mine, Skechers Performance, and Velofix Toronto.
This weeks vlog is a 2016 triathlon year in review with highlights. 2016 was a good year for me. I made improvements in the swim, bike, and run, but my biggest improvements came in my mindset. I believed that there was no upper limit to my potential. This wasn’t just lip service, I really believed that I’m not so different than those guys winning races, and with hard work, patience, and some planning I could get there.
